Welcome to my academic page!

I am an ETH postdoctoral Fellow at the Power Systems Labaratory at ETH Zürich. I am also a researcher affiliated with the Urban Energy Systems Labaratory at Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (Empa) and NCCR Automation, Switzerland.

My research, teaching, and services rely on data-driven optimization techniques and control theories and their applications to critical civil infrastructures, i.e., power systems with renewable energy resources, smart building energy management, municipal water networks, and wind farms. as they are operated in an optimal, sustainable, stable and efficient way.

% In detail, my research works focus on developing approaches that optimize economic performance while guaranteeing robustness and stability for different control and operational problems in energy systems. These approaches include the data-based distributionally robust stochastic dispatch in power grids, stochastic optimal water flow in water networks, online control/estimation algorithm design for extremely large distribution networks, stochastic LQR optimal control for wide-area frequency control, and stochastic dynamic programming for wind farm power maximization.
